Smokey’s Opinion #56: On Moonflowers
A quick note from the cottage porch: This journal entry contains affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. I have been asked to comment on the moonflowers.
Here are my findings.
• They opened exactly when they intended to.
• Staring at them for four consecutive evenings did not appear to speed up the process.
• The porch blanket was acceptable.
• The tea smelled promising.
• The blueberry, goat cheese, and honey oat cakes were the most productive part of the entire operation.

Overall assessment:
The flowers bloomed.
Maeve smiled.
Everyone sat quietly together.
No emails were answered.
An unexpectedly successful week.
